Interface skins?

Hello,
I’m evaluating OpenEMR for use in our small clinic. However, I’m afraid that it may actually be too complex for our purposes. If we were able to simplify the interface to be tailored to our specific needs, then perhaps we could adopt this system. How easy or difficult would it be to create a custom/different interface with only the functionality that we absolutely need? In a sense, I guess I’m asking if the OpenEMR interface can be “skin”-able? Thanks in advance for your input.

What I mean is that you’ll find yourself using most feaures in a short time,
and believe it or not, this is simpler than simplifying it,
