Installing 5.0.0

We have received reports of this on forum and chat:

HTTPD not a win 32 application in ver 5.0.0

When I loaded this last version of the program and sent to start the apache server it came of with this not being a valid win 32 application. I cannot figure this one out on my own, i am not at all familiar with apache server. Dave

Looks like XAMPP does not support windows xp.

Can't install XAMPP on my Windows XP computer due to httpd.exe and php.exe no being valid win32 applications
