Installed wrong patch

Hello everyone,

I made a mistake and installed a patch for 4.1.0 patch 13.  I was previously running Version 4-1-1 patch 5.

I searched for OpenEMR patch found an old patch and absentmindedly installed it.  It appeared to work but I noticed the log in screen was the older screen.  I promptly found the 4-1-1 patch 7 and installed it but the old log is screen in still in place.  So I screwed something up obviously.

How do I restore my OpenEmr to the Version 4-1-1 and install the newest patch.

Thanks for the help and sorry for being and idiot.

Unless you have customized your code, you should not need to do anything except download the latest 411 zip package from the open-emr site.   http://open-emr.org/wiki/index.php/OpenEMR_Downloads

You should also have made a backup copy of your openemr before you applied the patch.  You can restore that backup (just the code not the data) and repatch.

The version number comes from the database, so it’s also entirely possible you have a 4.1.1 with all of the correct files, but just an inconsistent value in the version table.

OK, I have it fixed.  I had to go back and upgrade 4.1.0 to 4.1.1 then install the latest patch.

I could not see the version number on the login screen and there were multiple functions that did not work such as calender, and messages.  I messed it up good, but I fixed it.

Thanks for the quick response.   Only took me about an hour to fix things.

I have actually done this before and found an old message that instructed me what to do. Maybe one day I will learn.

Thanks again, Tony and yehster.
