I am trying to set this up on Windows 7, got the servers working, now after running the setup.php file it stops halfway through Step 3 right after reconnecting as new user, the browser just hangs.
Any Ideas?

Does your error log have anything telling?

Also, I recommend using the XAMPP package for Windows, see the link. It’s a straight forward install

I have this package. At first I thought it was windows XP, so I upgraded to Windows 7.

Yes, for the past 8 weeks it is driving me nuts trying to install this package.

Where is the error log?
I tried this package first.
I am supposed to use this program in my graduate work for college.

I have managed to get this above package to start without running any setup. Now I just have to progrm in all the company information. Runs very slow, is this normal?
Had to make allowances in the windows firewall for the ports to go in and out.

Do you happen to have the file you downloaded and know the name of it (seeing if you are using version 1 or version 2 of this package; there are other ways to tell if needed)?
