Inability to login to after updating to 7.0.3 (4)

Situation
Describe your problem here
We upgraded the instance from 7.0.2 (3) to 7.0.3 (4) and we are now unable to login and only are presented with a blank white screen after entering credenitals.

hi @Warren, usually a white screen means there will be something in the php log directing you to the issue.

This all started with requriements to get weno to work function. We have updated from 7.0.2 to 7.0.2 (3) to 7.0.3 (4) in 3 days I think…

So what’s the status with log in? I see weno issues on the 9’th and 12th but not 13th.
When did login fail, i.e which upgrade version?
Was weno ever working?
I suggest running sql_upgrade from v7.0.0.
Disable weno module to exclude in log in.

In the modules table find weno and reset mod_active to 0 from 1.

Thank you for the response. I am waiting on a response from the admins who applied the updates at this moment. The instance is running in docker and I don’t have the functionality I would with a VPS or a dedicated server. Once we get things organized, we will be migrating to a VPS at minimum so we can have some tools like cpanel or hespia.

We were updating/upgrading weno to get it to work. We encountered the inability to populate the directory with the pharmacies for the tests. While it stated the process was started it never indicated success per weno support and our own observation in the lack of functionality.

Thank you for responding.

I will keep posting results as we go forward. I really hate restoring a backup to be honest.

This is actually the first true complication we have had with openemr in all these years to be honest

Misbehaving modules can prevent openemr startup. I added a feature in last patch to disable module that don’t bootstrap.
I suggest disabling modules one by one or all to see if a module is prevent startup.
Start with weno by changing mod_active to 0. This flag will stop module manager from trying to start module.
Weno downloads pharmacy to a table and not a dir/folder in directory tree.
Pharmacies are updated once a day and a full download every 7 days.
I can tell prescriptions are syncing between openemr and weno.
Once you get log in back use the weno tools available to help with issues with pharmacy downloads.
I spoke with Kevin at weno about someone having issue with search, was this you?

hi @Kanoberson, having incorrect keys would trigger a white screen but it’s risky to delete the keys especially if you don’t have a backup of them since they decrypt items in the database. If this is an upgrade @Warren then you should have brought the documents directory over which will have those keys in the proper place as the instructions explain.

Ok I have now updated from 7.0.2 (3) to 7.0.3 (4). It has finally worked and login is 100%. I first updated to 7.0.3 and immediatly upon completion of the update i upgraded patch 1 and i was able to login without any sluggishness or any other issues. I then applied patch 4 and all is functional except for the continued issue with Weno of which it isn’t completing the directory pulls per the logs anyway.

For all finding this issue here the problem turned out to be a case where search wasn’t working on MySQL environment but okay using MariaDB! Go figure right!
Nonetheless still a bug on me as I was misusing a datetime column. lol sounds criminal!

Anyway I have PR up for patch 4, I think. Easy change if want to fix until then.
