Suspect that you are missing this update to the HCFA generation code.

Thank you for quick respond
I updated to patch 4 and all my problems with ICD 10 resolved

About Taxonomy code. I contacted OfficeAlly and they recommended to not make any changes in the system, just because only one payer requested it on claims.
Thank you for all of you for quick and professional respond for all our questions!!!

You’re welcome.

Last April Office Ally told me it was fine to have the Taxonomy code for all e-claims even though it was only required for our local (one) Blue Shield. No problems with reimbursements from other insurers.

What you can do is to print up the paper claims for Amerigroup first with the Taxonomy code as shown in the above link, then uncomment the 2 snippets for other insurers if you are sending paper.

It would be a lot simpler to leave the Taxonomy code in for all e-claims. If claims submitted this way don’t work, it won’t be long before the claims are rejected.

Never had claims rejected because of the additional Taxonomy code. We’re still doing this way & no insurers have complained.

The only people who did complain was our local Blue Shield after Patch 4 was applied. Patch 4 deleted the Taxonomy code & segment count snippets causing rejection of all Blue Shield claims this month.
