Hi Golden,

Greetings from ViSolve!

Assuming you have installed OpenEMR in this location /xampp/htdocs/<openemr_foldername>, you can start accessing OpenEMR using the following links:

  1. http://localhost/<openemr_foldername> - If you are using in your local machine
  2. http://<domain_name/IP>/<openemr_foldername> - For others to access

Thanks

i am able to access it locally. But i wanted members to be able to access it online, without me needing to install the neccessary files on their respective machines. is that possible and is it also possible so that, for instance, Hospital A and Hospital B have subscribed for the service and are now using to manage te hospital and records, what i want is both hospitals should use the same URL, which will be my domain, and a single database so that if a patients goes to hospital A today and next week goes to another hospital , Hospital B, Hospital B can still view and access the data and records that Hospital A captured for that respective patient. I hope you get what i mean. Is that possible? already do have a domain name FYI. and as am speaking right now, am uploading the whole EMR folder to my server. you can see the attached pic.

Are you trying to setup a demo to be accessed online or a copy of OEMR to be accessible remotely?

More about the 4.2.1 Demo, to save yourself a lot of work.

If you plan to use a hosting service, see this if your operating system is Linux. If you use Windows, see Amazon’s AWS.

Looks like you’re using Windows 10.

Apparently Amazon has a free 1 year trial of AWS.

Existing openemr supports the requested features. Please check the How to setup OpenEMR for multiple clinics? for more clarifications if you want separate clinics/hospitals.

Installing the OE files is not the part, which trips folks up, when using a hosting service.

Things to remember: 1) use the IP address of the host’s Apache & MySQL servers, not localhost,

& 2) change the collation as shown in this tutorial.

To customize, open the frame in another tab. The URL in the second tab will point you to the path to the .php file to modify. For specific questions, start a new thread.
