How to save an encounter?

I don’t think I’m saving the encounters correctly.  When I go to a patient and click on list I can view all old encounters.  When I click on an older encounter I’m able to delete it, or edit it. 

I am trying to figure out how to save the encounter so it’s no longer possible to edit or delete, but just view the encounter.  Is there a way to do this?

At this point there is no "Lock" function.  However, the simplest thing to do is to use the "Reason" field, and insert at the very top left of that "Make No Changes - " which will display at all listings.  Just a suggestion.  You are correct that you can change or delete, although a delete will simply remove the "active" status, but leave the event in the database.
