It would not be complicated to write an function that would do that, but to make it something that the community could use, more information would be required.
Is this a “global” setting or would this be (more likely) based on the patient’s insurance record or just some ‘max enc’ field in the patient record?
What if they run out? How do you plan to reset it so they can have more encounters? Is it date based, medical issue/problem based or “case” based?
Do ALL encounters count or just certain types of encounters/visits?
That’s some of the questions off the top of my head.
