I have been trying intermittentlly to install on Cywin. There are clearly easier ways:
On MS XP Professional and MS 2003 Server: WAMP or XAMP will work. You have t be careful about using PHP 4+ and MySQL 4+ (Currently PHP5 and MySQL 5 don’t work without a lot of hacking.)
Install VMWare: Then install Ubuntu or some other version of Linux then do a Linux installation.
There is also a clever package that installs a linux kernel on a Windowws machine so that both kernels are running at the same time. This has promise but I am not sure if this has been run successfully yet.
Install Ubuntu or some other version of Linux then do a Linux installation on a Server macine and access from any version of browser that you want.
