Graph with Labs result

Dear all,

I saw the vital module can be graph chart (pic 1). Could i make the graph with labs result?

Greetings from ViSolve!

Yes, graphs are already available for lab results in openemr. Follow the steps below:

1.Go to ‘Lab Overview’ in the left navigation.
2.Select the items and choose ‘LIST’ and click on submit. Refer Lab Overview.png
3.A table will be generated with the ‘Plot items’ button.
4.A graph will be generated when clicking on this button. Refer Lab Results Graph.png

Note: Make sure there is atleast more than one lab results for that patient.

Else, you can also use the ‘Track Anything form’. Refer this

but when i choose items and click submit button i didn’t see “Plot items” button like the attached file.

As mentioned in the previous post, you need to have more than one lab result for the same patient. Only then the graph will be generated and the button for the same will be available. Refer 2.png

If you have only one lab result as in the attachment 1.png, graphs will not be available.

Note: If you have two lab results for the same patient, the this screen will look like as in 3.png

The available code does not allow the users to pritnt the lab results including the graph. You need to customize the code to make this feature function.
