Nonprofit Membership - Nonprofit Connect
“Membership is based on your organization’s prior fiscal year income. Please refer to line 12 of the most current 990, line 9 of the 990EZ, or Assets line 16(b) of the 990-PF.”
I believe it will cost $175 annually given last year’s tax return
Membership runs for 12 months from when your organization’s dues are first received.
" Requirements for Consideration:
Requests may be reviewed by Labcorp or The Labcorp Charitable Foundation.
- Organization must hold a tax-exempt status under Section 501(c) (3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Service Code, or have charitable equivalency status under the laws and provisions of their respective government;
- Request must meet one of the three supported areas: a) health and welfare; b) education; and c) community;
- Request for funding should be submitted at least 10-12 weeks prior to the project or program. Please note, The Labcorp Charitable Foundation reviews requests in March and September;
- All requests must be submitted using this application and should include a description of the organization, its mission, a copy of the program budget, details as to how funds will be utilized as well as any supporting documentation. Phone solicitations are not accepted.
Charitable Funding Exclusions:
- Individuals or families
- Political campaigns or candidates
- Fraternal organizations
- Individual or team sports; sport clubs, activities or events
- Churches and other religious organizations
- Schools for advertising in yearbooks, souvenir programs, or other special occasion publications
- Incentive or reward programs
- General operating support to hospitals and healthcare institutions including staff education, capital campaigns, construction, renovation projects or equipment purchases.
- Capital campaigns, including new construction and renovation of facilities
- Payment of staff salaries is generally not supported
- Individual sponsorships related to fundraising activities
- Door prizes, gift certificates or other giveaways
- Government Officials
- Fundraising events in which the Foundation receives any goods or services in consideration for the contribution
- Organizations that deny service, membership or other involvement on the basis of age, sex, race, religion, color, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, citizenship, veteran or disability status
