Is there a way to add biometric data in openemr. What i want to do is that at the time of patient registration, the fingerprint should be taken and recorded inthe database. Later on when the same patient comes, his record could be fetched with the same fingerprint.

For this type of project, google is your friend. Suggest researching if and how other open source projects have incorporated this type of feature if you feel the pros outweigh the cons.
