Fee Sheet Copy Diagnoses/CPT from Previous Encounter

I stumbled across this post from 2012, and I wanted to see if there had been any movement on creating a feature in the fee sheet that allows the copying of the ICD-10 diagnosis and/or the CPT codes from a previous fee sheet.

We are in the process of implementing OpenEMR for our mental health practice, and our “issues” don’t change from encounter to encounter. It would be cumbersome for admin staff to have to review the demographics to view the issue to input on the fee sheet when it is static.

Any insight is appreciated!

On the fee sheet, there is a “review” button, which brings up the previous dates of service for a patient. Choose the date of service you would like to “copy” and click add, it will add the cpt and diagnosis codes from that date of service. You can also un-check any info you may not want from the previous encounter, say you only want 1 of the 3 diagnoses, you can un-check the ones you don’t want applied to this encounter.
