Fee Sheet Attachment

I have multiple claims I need to resubmit, and I need to provide proof of timely filing along with the resubmitted claim. I know for rebilling a claim I would need to use the Misc Billing Options HCFA within the encounter and provide the original claim number to submit a corrected claim. I also need to attach proof of timely filing, and I wanted to know now others have handled that within OpenEMR. Can you attach a doc somehow to the fee sheet? Suggestions would be appreciated!

hi @dmnlbh , there’s currently no standard way to send attachments with electronic claims but there’s work underway to handle the most common cases.

Usually in these situations you can create a spreadsheet and securely email the information to the payer with the proof of timely information and letter that details the need for review.
