Favorites list for CPT, ICD10 and medications

Favorites list for CPT, ICD10 on encounter screen, and prescribing medications
I saw a post from 2016 asking about favorite list but no replies. Is it possible to create a ‘superbill’ to display directly on the encounter note with categories per type of cpt code and same with diagnosis codes. Example cpt - office visit - have codes in list, manipulation - have codes in list, foot care - have codes in list, same with diagnosis. Plus medications list by category - pain, allergies, etc. Make it easier for the Provider to choose rather than clicking on Fee Sheet.

Admin → Coding → Codes
Enter your CPT and HCPCS
https://www.open-emr.org/wiki/index.php/HOWTO:_Add_Or_Edit_A_Billing_Code_In_OpenEMR

Select patient → slect or create an encounter → Administrative → Fee Sheet → Search for Additional Codes (You should be able to find your codes there)

CPT4 Procedure/Service HCPCS Procedure/Service ICD10 Diagnosis CQM Valueset OID Valueset

Admin → Forms – Lists → Fee sheet (edit or create new line) → save
Select patient → slect or create an encounter → Administrative → Fee Sheet → Foot care

Hello @Hopeful
The OP is talking about a related but different topic than you asked about.
It is related, in that superbills are available in OpenEMR, described here:
https://www.open-emr.org/wiki/index.php/Superbills_in_OpenEMR

and they display the codes entered in the manner previously described. However, these superbills are an actual document that can be printed out and used on the old- school manner of accompanying a patient’s paperwork from station to station in their encounter and having the provider manually writing on it what was services were rendered.

What you are asking for is very similar to how it is already: when you open the encounter summary the menu to pull up the fee sheet is right there:

and once the fee sheet is open you have a tab (at top left below) that you can click on any time you’re writing in the encounter sheet and need to enter another service or diagnosis.

As mentioned in the wiki doc linked above, you can enter any sort of codes into your custom codeset and thy display grouped in whatever dropdown you want to design. From there you can click on the menu items and add them to the fee sheet.

Now, if you really need the ‘Superbill’ document display format you can just go on there on the main menu and open the superbill. It will come up in its own tab while you’re working on the encounter summary, however it will not add any codes to the fee sheet or encounter form

@Hopeful Every categories of appointment we had configured the CPT code and once appointment is created and mark patient arrived we are automatically creating the Fee sheet below are configuration screenshot for same

@Nilesh_Hake That’s very cool!
I can find that screen at Admin/ Clinic/ Calendar off the main menu but the display (this img from the OpenEMR demo) doesn’t match yours.

Do you get those service level dropdowns from some global setting I can’t find?
Or is that a bit of custom coding?

@Nilesh_Hake That’s one excellent feature!
Would the user configure the codes labels, fees, price structure etc in the Codes module as other codes are managed?

@htuck I am just take code here and allow user to select it. All details are pulled from the codes section only.

That’s great, I’m looking forward to playing with that feature.
