Eprescribe Curl extension , Newcrop and Medication LIst

emhi wrote on Tuesday, May 12, 2015:

I was trying to see how Newcrop would work for eprescribe and I click in Administration -Globals and connectors the New crop check mark. Then I got in each patient on the top right the Add/Edit eRx button. Once I click there I get the message I need Curl extension.
Since I don’t need that eprescribe module I unchecked the Newcrop option in the connectors-Globals -Aministrator but I still have the Add/edit Erx in each patient and now I can’t add any medication to the medication list or print a prescription in the prescription module. I am using Xampp openemr 4.1.0 in Windows 8.1.
I would appreciate any help regarding this
Thank you

Whenever possible, experiment on the Demo’s or a second, test copy.

Used the 4.1.2 Demo, unchecked the Enable NewCrop box & saved the change with functionality of Prescription module restored.

It may be simpler to upgrade to 4.2.0 (2) rather attempting to remove traces of NewCrop.

Prego.

If you decide to upgrade to 4.2.0, XAMPP should be upgraded as well.

Here is the Wiki article.

You’re welcome.

If there is any possibility of MU1 attestation, you may wish to hold off on the upgrades.

MU1 attestation with 4.2.0 seems rather messy. Just looked at the various reports. I would not advise using 4.2.0 (2) for MU2 either.

A user cannot attest to MU2 without doing MU1 first.
