Hi all — releasing v1.7.0 of the Endear DSCSA Module today.
It’s a free, GPL-3.0 module that adds DSCSA-required serialized inventory
tracking, GS1 scan-and-trace, and EPCIS/AS2 trading-partner connectivity
directly into OpenEMR — no core-file patches needed. Also handles the
suspect/illegitimate product investigation workflow (582(d)(4)), returns/
recalls, and an optional DSCSA+ add-on for controlled substances (DEA
schedule tracking, named dispensing record, state PDMP reporting).
Relevant with large dispensers’ DSCSA deadline already passed (Nov 2025)
and small dispensers’ deadline coming up November 27, 2026.
