I just completed my first draft of a viewer to display the EDI files that are stored in the system.
Is there anyone interested in this feature?
Hi @juggernautsei
What features are you building in?
Will your utility provide the capabilities promised for so long by the EDI History module?
That’d be great!

I built this from a request to get to this information. The current EDI viewer did not easily provide the access. We tried for over an hour to get the original display back. So, I built a simple viewer that would grab the last 20 files that were uploaded. There is still more work to be done. But this is a start to be able to view EDI file that was uploaded.
If there is anyone that wants to support the build out and contribute directional input that would make this a useful feature. Please contact me.
Hi @juggernautsei, looks good. The current EDI viewer can easily provide access however it could also be improved.
@stephenwaite the word easy is relative to who is using it. We did not find it easy to get the information back. It was not obvious and this would be the part that would need improving for the EDI History. I didn’t want to climb in there and muck around like one of the last cowboys. I knew it would take more time to learn how the EDI History worked than to produce the feature a fresh.
I thought I would just throw it out here for conversation. I did put the code inside the interface/billing.
Like we’ve discussed previously, the ability to create a background process that grabs the 835s and runs them through the posting script and then leaves the html reports for the biller to view, work and mark as completed would be ideal.
I’m pretty sure you guys wouldn’t want me to chime in on this:)
@sjpadgett please do. I would really like to hear what you have to say about this topic.
I’ll look at tomorrow Sherwin.
I should get to this today @juggernautsei
