Has anyone successfully integrate digital x-ray into OpenEMR? I am looking into the Konica ImagePilot Sigma Desktop CR Reader. The unit states that the software can “automatically receive patient information from any EMR that supports DICOM or HL7”.
Still we haven’t integrated digital X-Ray into OpenEMR.But worked on processing of HL7 messages using Mirth Server.
Does your “Desktop CR Reader” can able to send data to EMR ? If yes , we suggest that you may use Mirthserver between the Desktop CR Reader and OpenEmr.

Sorry I get back so late. The vendor did not respond to my question on the Desktop CR Reader’s ability and how to send data to EMR. I don’t know more about it to go further. Thank you for your help.

In my opionthe next step would be to have the viewer to connect to an existing PACS, and show the stored images and present them in the viewer.
