Have another question…I enter information for a user and their facility is listed in the Default Facility:box. Am I confusing provider with facility? I was expecting the facility to come up automatically in the provider box. Instead of the user having to click on the pull-down and select it. Hope this make sense. Thanks again.
The provider box is located at the left side in the calendar view. Why does the users see "your clinic name here " in the selection box. Since the facility for that user is entered at the time of setup and it does appear.appear in the box.
I just tried you use the demo I site. I set up a new user and facility called test with password password, however it would not let me login using that user name and password. May you will have more luck
On my system I set up a user as a physician. With provider, active and calendar boxes checked. In the box labeled Default Facility I chose the facility. I saved the entry. Logout….Login as the physician …on the calendar screen and to the left the box labeled providers displays “you clinic name here”. If you click on the selection arrow it will display the facility entered for that user.
It seems to me that when I set a user up and it asks me for a default facility name that name should be displayed in the provider box without the user having to remember to click on the provider box and select it.
The interface looks different under calendar depending on the setting I chose. I have been using the outlook setting and I just changed it to original. The box is now in the upper left corner however it is not labeled provider list…it has no label at all…just reads “you clinic name here” again you must click to show the default choice that you made in the user set up screen.
I am sorry if I am not being clear. It is hard when what I see must be different than your screen……
Well the third choice is the charm…".Fancy calendar" display does work. Displays the calendar for the logged in user with out hitting a button. Please take a look at the other two settings to see what I am talking about.
Looking at the 3.2 development demo site, I see you created a “test” facility but not a new user. Perhaps you are confusing the two. Facilities are not users. Also what release are you using and where did you get it from? Has it been modified? What settings have you changed in globals.php?
Please read my last post….yes I know the difference between a user and a facility. You mean to tell you that when you log into the demo site you can not see user test and facility called test 1234. I just logged in and I can see both….
The coding problem is only displayed when the calendar display other than fancy is chosen.
I see user test now, but did not before. Your problem with logging in as that user was that there was no access control group selected. I set the user’s group to Physicians and now the login works.
And I see what you mean now about the default facility not being automatically set. It does look like a bug.
