Customization

I have recently installed openemr and have been trying to customize it for my private medical office (internal medicine). I think that the “history” needs to be redesigned from scratch. For instance: it is (almost) useless to know that a patient has diabetes if you don’t know its type and duration. Or an abnormal LDL value - it means (almost) nothing. You need a series of values to assess the patient and the effect of medication, diet etc on the patient’s problem. There are other useful possible addition to the history like previous surgery for appendicitis (common), etc.
So, the question is: is there any way to redesign “history” without having to learn programming languages?
And also, I would find very useful a new sheet named “lab tests” that would include all common tests and allow me to add “other” tests (uncommon) as well sorted by date and time. Is there any way to do that?

You can redesign the history page yourself, via Admin -> Layouts.

There is some work just getting started for managing lab tests.

I tried to redesign it by removing some entries and adding some others, but I got errors on other pages. I guess that the existing entries are required for them to work properly.
