What is the procedure to add medications to openEMR medication list? I need to add medicines that are not listed in the pre installed version,

OpenEMR does have a native medication management feature, but it is an aspect of the EMR’s inventory capability. It also manages medication administration, with the Prescription module.
Gotta say right off, though, that OpenEMR does connect to integrated eRx services such as NewCrop, but they work separately from the native Inventory and Prescription modules.
The wiki has two main documents on the Prescription module, and adding medications is part of what they show.
This is the original doc for the modern incarnation of the module, even though several wiki pages show instructions for much older versions . See section 3 ‘Add Medications To Dispensary’ for the answer to your specific question, but be sure to read the prelim instructions to be sure your Pharm/ Dispensary is properly configured.
