Hello masters, is there a way you can do some in-house lab tests and send some specimen to a reference lab, then consolidate all the results to generate a report? For example if we do some immigration related tests in house, then some to Quest. We would like to have a consolidated report with all results in it. Thanks!

Just to be sure, you are aware that what you are asking about is nothing like standard workflows for OpenEMR, right? Some of it would depend on having a connection to a lab that is willing to do what you want. But in any case, you would need to do some serious re-coding of OpenEMR’s procedures module to get the reports and the bi-directional activity you want.
Basically, I’m saying that this post really should be in the ‘help wanted’ section, not here where people are asking for support of the standard version of OpenEMR.
