CPT codes aren't loaded

I’ve installed openEMR 4.2.2 on a Mac running OSX 10.10.5, with the XAMPP 5.6.21-0 package.
The wiki pages say that the CPT4 codes are already loaded in the installation.
But they do not appear to be present. When I edit the fee sheet list, searches for CPT codes in the code finder yield no results. Clicking the [Add] link brings up the Code Finder pane. But there does not appear to be a way to manually add the codes.

On the fee sheet, when I search on CPT4 Procedure/services, zero items appear on the drop-down menu.

Hi Paul
The procedure codes are not available by default. As per my knowledge, few sample CPT Codes come up by default but not all codes…
The CPT code package need to be purchased and installed to get it displayed in feesheet.

Hope this helps.

Thanks

To clarify, CPT code package is covered by a proprietary license, so need to purchase them from the AMA:

Once purchased, how does one install the package in openEMR?

Hello Paul,

Please refer this link to add the purchased codes to OpenEMR.

And you can also add directly each codes under Administration->Codes.

Thanks,
