Somethings different here.
Used to be able to search with 2 last names. As is customary in most hispanic cultures, we use both Paternal and Maternal Last Names.
As of version 5 this is no longer possible. It worked in 4.2.2.
We can search by first name + last name but not with 2 last name or only 2 last names.
FYI: Same issue exists in Find at bottom of Left menu.

Can you please explain how you are adding two last names when creating a patient?
We can able to search patients by using last name. If you have two last names then the search will work when you type first one of that in patient finder screen.

We just put two last names separated by a space in the name field in the fax/scan dispatch or in the find by name under popup (left nav).
Prior to 5.0 it worked.
For example Juan Del Pueblo (Juan fname and Del Pueblo lname). Juan Del works fine but Del Pueblo does not.
