When a patient requests an appointment on the portal i receive a message that states “Use Portal Dashboard to confirm with patient.” However when ii’m on the portal dashboard i don’t see a message from the patient or the ability to respond to anything, am i missing something?

You can use Mail to send them a secure message to their inbox.
Also, when you change appointment status it also reflects in the portal appointment view.
