Hello: I have set administration>Globals to use 02/12. The text, however does not line-up with the red pre-printed forms. I printed the PDF on a blank piece of paper and superimposed the pre-printed one on top, against a bright light to see if I could shift the papers and make the fields line up… I could not. The three “X’s” in Box 10 are a pretty good alignment tool.
Box 1 is way off. Phone in 7 is off. 12 is WAY off etc.
Has anyone had these issues?
As it stands, using defaults of my printer, the form first half of the form is 4 lines off, and the second half of the document is about 1 line off.
Make sure that in your print settings you don’t have “shrink to fit” or something similar enabled. It may complain about things being outside of the printable margins, but what you are describing is almost certainly because of improper scaling.
In relation to pdf printing I want to pose the next question:
I have two printers, one with A6 paper and one with A4 paper. Is there a software way to let the correct pdf file be printed by the correct paper size printer?
So not the answer with make a preview and decide what printer, but skipping preview and print pdf from within OpenEMR directly to the correct printer.
