Hi All,

First off i just want to say thank you to the wonderfull software.

I have made alot of changes in the demographics section without any issues. I just wanted to find out how can i change all the labels for example SSN to ID Number because in South Africa we do not use the term SS. I have changed it in demographics section without any issues, but in the search screen layout im not able to change it.

I have attached sceenshots below.

Any help would greatly appreciated.

Regards

Hi Michiel,

1)To change the header value (SSN) in Patient full search screen,
Go to Administration => lists => select the list “Patient list columns” , then change the title “SSN” and click “Save”.

  1. For changing the ssn value in left navigation window ,
Go to “openemr/interface/main/left_nav.php” page ,find the function “genFindBlock()” and change the “xl(‘SSN’,‘e’)” value .

Hope this will clear your question.

Let us know if you have any concerns.

Try first Tranlation Table and make your changes in South African language of your choice. Most words like SNN into ID will bechanged inOpenEmr. ALso during upgrades these words go with the new vesion.
