My usual backup size is 5.5 GB.
Suddenly it is double that size. Now it is 11GB.
This must have changed when I upgraded to 5.0.0.
Was this supposed to happen?

it’s probably a combination of the database change from ISAM tables to INNOdb and the extra logging in 5.0
