I have been using OpenEMR in my practice (3 providers) since 2006 and have never thought of changing. Over the years we have had the most stable EMR of any of my colleges using other systems.
My question or discussion would be to get in contact with others using it for a Cash Only practice. The billing system has always seemed bigger than I can wrap my head around.
How we work:
- See pt.
- Input codes
- print receipt and collect money
- Print a HCFA CMS 1500 form for them if they want.
Has anyone else set this up for Cash Only. I would love to talk with you on how you have streamlined the process.
