Can't install OpenEMR on Windows

I have downloaded Apache, I have downloaded the latest php thread-safe version 8.4.2 and Windows C++ to run PHP, and confirmed on the terminal that it works. I have downloaded, unzipped and pasted the openemr folder under apache/htdocs and have the folder renamed. I have already added the php settings for openemr and restarted Apache. When I try to open http://localhost/openemr, it still says I need to have at least PHP 8.1.0.

I’m using Chrome on Windows 10(Arm-64)

Don’t use PHP 8.4. We haven’t test that version yet. Try xampp at Download XAMPP

What is an updated approved version of PHP to use? When using XAMPP it comes with an older version than 8.1.0.

On this page:

either of the 2 bottom options under XAMPP for Windows should be just fine. Plenty of OpenEMR V7 sites out there running on both PHP 8.1 & 8.2
