Can we integrate bootstrap menu bar in OpenEMR5?

I want to change openEMR top menu bar to bootstrap responsive menu bar. is it possible or is there any way to customize menu section?

For the first question, I think @rmagauran tried to use a bootstrap menu, but there were issues.

Regarding menu customization, there is a very good project here to take on for role based menus, which would be high impact:

I have an idea about how to get role based menus up and working relatively quickly, but just don’t have any resources(ie. time) to do it. If you are interested in working on this, I can go into more detail.
