Situation
I am a new user and I think I may have messed up a setting. I am able to search for patient however I can no longer adding new patient. It lets me fill out the form, but when I create new, it says URL not found.

You can also turn on User Debugging under Administration->Globals->Logging User Debugging Options=>All
I had the same issue in the past and it had to do with the “?” and “&” signs in the url. I changed it in the file but do not remmeber which one. Try the fix below. Make a backup before changing anything.
I think I put the my question in the wrong forum. I have no clue what any of that means. We have openemr set up through our company server. Is this something our IT department should be able to help with?

First you indicated you’re on version v7.0 which is hard for anyone to support because so old.
Absolutely get your IT guys involved as there is probably much more to this story to troubleshoot.
You really should get the powers to be invest in upgrading for many reasons with security topping the list.
You might want to do an About and verify your version.
