Can not change the document root directory on a shared hosting, is there is any other solution?!

I installed the openEMR on a shared hosting the installation process went well, when i try to open the application all what I get is (page not found)!I did a little search on the internet and found that it is a problem of the root directory which should be var/www instead of var/www/html as in my case.
my shared hosting can not change the root directory, is there is any other solution from the OPENEMR side?!

Which shared hosting are you using? Which OS?

do you have access to the OS?
do you have access to any of the PHP settings?

Without these two you might want to switch to AWS.
@MatthewVita is building a HIPAA compliant system that should be turnkey.

Hi @oshouip,

The 100% open source AWS solution beta release will be ready in early July. Note that it will be a beta launch, so production use isn’t recommended (we’re looking for beta testers!).

In the meantime, I would suggest reaching out to one of the professional vendors http://open-emr.org/wiki/index.php/Professional_Support or buy a VPS. VPS will be better than shared hosting.

In the meantime, your best bet is to go with a VPC or a professional OpenEMR vendor.
