Calendar - named 'Unknown' since Upgrading during one of the '6' upgrades and continues into 7.01

Situation
Since upgrading from 5 to 6 and later 7.01 I have had the issue where the calendar is known as ‘unknown’ in its tab and the appointments for the day appear over top the monthly calendar in the upper left hand corner. I am wondering if I took the ‘web’ files from a openemr demo backup and replaced mine if this is the solution or …
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

hi @mschap, have you tried clearing the smarty cache?

Yes and there was no change. Actually did it a few times.

it might be a php error, can you upgrade to 7.0.2?

Also try clearing browser cache to ensure new JavaScript code is updated.

This has been done and issue is across all computers accessed. But will try again tonight

hi @mschap, what version of php are you running? Admin->System->Diagnostics

ok, thanks

if you get a chance to tail the apache error log looking for a calendar error right after you try to load the calendar tab that could be helpful

tail /var/log/apache2/error.log
