To All OpenEMR developers —
It looks like the bug & feature request section was left by the wayside in 2006. What do you think about reviving it?
At the moment I’m in full-active development in the patient screens. Using the Tracker could be helpful to me and perhaps other developers working on the software.

Of course that would be great. I have several request already.
1. EDI: more robust with option to send directly to Medicare, BCBS without going to the Clearinghouse.
2. HL7 interface with the major labs in the area. Probably connect thru FTP.
3. escript without going thru the clearinghouse
4. Accounting: already in Beta
Optional are
1. Assigning location of database, documents, etc…
2. Fax
3. being able to customize forms easier

There are a lot of things needing improvements: e.g prescriptions
-medications prescriptions are one way entry (no delete option once entered)
-the summery of meds lacks to show the dosage in mg next to drug name
-there is no optional check box to insert electronic signature except for faxing ( sig.jpeg signature is automatic feature).
The other is the document viewer requires many clicks and scrolling to see the PDF inside small window.
I will make all the above changes my self but it will take me a few months due to my limited coding knowledge and limited free time.
