This has always been the original location for the greasemonkey script.
yehster wrote on Friday, March 15, 2013:
Got the same error you did.
Userscripts seems to be having some issues… Not my site, can’t do anything about it.
It looks it’s back now though.
fsgl wrote on Friday, March 15, 2013:
Go to Userscripts.
In script search bar type: allscripts integration.
Click the link & install.

Kevin do you have a copy of the API?
Thank you for your interest in the Allscripts Developer Program. We will evaluate your application and respond back to you with more information. If you have questions or would like to speak with someone regarding the program, please reach out to AllscriptsDeveloperProgram@allscripts.com and we will get back with you as soon as possible.

No, I didn’t sign up for the ADP. There is a fee involved. The script a “non-standard” way of integrating, so I actually worry a little that Allscripts might not be supportive of the effort.
robertrambo wrote on Thursday, March 21, 2013:
Hi Kevin,
It is a very helpful and useful script you have incorporated into the software.
As you and I know we write alot of scripts to make our work easier and more automated this is not a problem usally.
From perl to js there is a way to scrape and pull you are just making it easy for someone who already enters it
to get it there.
Thank you for that I was just wondering if the OpenEMR non-profit would pick up your idea for MU by filling out the application?
Then you could use the DOCS for your development and push it to the git?
Nice work btw

Allscripts has separate ONC Modular Certification. Nothing further is required for MU.
Cverk in Colorado and Dr. Leemhuis in Erie are two physicians I know of who use the current iteration of the script and have attested Meaningful Use.

Kevin,
Great I appreciate the information
Thank you

BTW,
https://github.com/yehster/oemruserscripts/tree/master/greasemonkey
The script has also always been available on my github repo.
The userscripts site is a nominally better hosting location since it explains greasemonkey.

If you use Allscripts, we have released revised batch import functionality in OpenEMR.
cverk wrote on Friday, June 28, 2013:
Allscripts made an update this week that kind of messed up the greesemonkey script. When you push the button on openemr to go to allscripts it tries to populate the search box for the patient and then gives you an error message. You can then search it manually and it will find them if they have been previously entered. The one time I tried to import someone new, it messed up their date of birth which had to be entered manually also.
yehster wrote on Friday, June 28, 2013:
I don’t have an Allscripts account anymore without which I can’t really help debug this issue. Sorry.
xiaoanri wrote on Friday, June 28, 2013:
i also noticed the problem with Kevin’s Allscript integration. It also broke the batch import functionality by MD Support.
Since this is such a great feature, I wonder if it is possible for a few of us who uses this function to sponsor a fix? I would be happy to chip in.
fsgl wrote on Friday, June 28, 2013:
Allscripts 17.0.0 has no appreciable effect on the free version. Cannot import without paying for it. In a small office with a minimal amount of prescribing, free works fine. Patient setup requires name, date of birth, gender, zip code and pharmacy name. The last 2 items change infrequently. Patient lookup usually requires typing just the surname.
For large practices or Internal Medicine, the $20 per month for Allscripts Deluxe is cost effective.
Online registration should take no more than 10 minutes. If forum members wish to underwrite the $20/month for a subscription on a pro re nata basis, perhaps Kevin can be induced to undertake a fix of the GreaseMonkey script. If forum members want to sweeten the pot with an additional sum, the task may have a greater appeal.
cverk wrote on Friday, June 28, 2013:
Todays Allscripts notices say that the upgrade also killed Internet explorer access, which I didn’t notice since I use firefox. They are working to get that back to the previous state, so maybe that will fix this issue as well.
fsgl wrote on Saturday, June 29, 2013:
No problem logging in today with Internet Explorer.
Out of curiosity, tried to navigate from Allscripts to their community forum but was unable to do so with either Internet Explorer or with Firefox. Tried navigating outside of their website via Firefox but encountered the error message, “unable to open connection with data provider”.
