This might be relevant to developers interested in Ai integration in electronic health records.

Cleveland Clinic is using Ai platform across their health systemto help automatically generate clinical notes and coding assistance from doctor-patient conversations. The concept is similar to how Zoom provides meeting transcripts and summaries, but specifically tailored for clinical encounters. The Ai listens to doctor-patient conversations and automatically generates structured clinical notes / coding, saving physicians from manual documentation.

We have a number of companies building this out for OpenEMR, we’ll see which ones start publicly releasing it for the public.

I’m interested to see how these groups are handling hallucinations.

As for dealing with hallucinations, AI model advancements, training, and parameters as well as feedback error handling but users need to treat AI solutions as aids not replacements, especially those dealing with medical applications.
