Hi,
could anybody please explain me what the diffrence between Administrative & Clinical from medical site, when the Dr create a visit for the PT then h/she should choose Administrative- Procedure Order then add Diagnosis from ICD Or h/she will use Clinical- care Plan - code to choose from SNOMED CT medical term, what does it mean?

Hi @samir.irshaid ,
In the US, generally need to use ICD10 diagnostic codes to justify procedure/labs. The Clinical->Care Plan is not related to the procedures/labs module; this form was specifically required to fulfill Meaningful Use certification and I am not entirely sure what it is meant to do…

but when could I use it, because care plan contain SNOME and LOINC, also SNOMED CT to ICD-10-CM map (herein referred to as “the Map”) is to support semi-automated generation of ICD-10-CM codes from clinical data encoded in SNOMED CT for reimbursement and statistical purposes.

Hi @samir.irshaid ,

The use of different code sets is flexible in OpenEMR and can be set in administration->Layouts->Code Types.

To support the snomed to icd10 map would require development.
