At present I have three menu tabs on my encounter form (New Ecounter, Administrative, Clinical). I would like guidance on how to add another menu tab as I want to divide the list of forms I have under the Clinical menu into two.
The Menu list (1) is Encounter History, New encounter, Past Encounter List. Not in my imagination I can think of another option needed. Future Encounters list??? Just joking.
Easy peasy… to make more tabs in the encounter menu.
Go to Administration => Other => Forms
and make as many subtabs as you think are needed.
If you use the option LBF-Visit forms the new tab for LBF Forms will be created by OpenEMR. The name of this LBF-tab can be changed through language. To confuse you I made an extra tab labled Layout based 2 2. To show you the many options available, but the original Layout Based tab does not show in Forms.
Encounter summary, is no Tab, it just gives you what it says, it gives you a summary, an overview. The problem is that sometimes Encounter summary has to be Clicked in the Left Menu option to get the summary and sometimes there is a direct link. (If something is not always working as expected, is it a bug of is it a memorable feat?)
I could not think of why you need more tabs for Forms, but it could be you added Forms and have more than five or ten to choose from. What is you reason for more tabs?
I have created a number of forms for my specific needs so I have more than five to display. They are not LBF-Visit forms so I do not get the LBF-Tab.
I worked it out that all one needs to do is to add a new Category to the Category List in Administration >> Others >> Forms (default are Administrative and Clinical) and update. This automatically adds a new Category Tab to the Encounter form.
