A lightweight WAMP server called UNIFORM Server: Any Thoughts on it's use?

I’ve installed openemr on ubuntu and windows with xampp for testing purposes and I just came across another WAMP open source software called UNIFORM Server. Noticed that it has been discussed before but the people that made this happen say that it is ready for production straight out of the install. I have been able to load Openemr 4.2.2 in UNIFORM server and have noticed it has significant negative performance issue. Mainly the speed at which the pages load or update once logged into Openemr. The positive is the security of the WAMP server. It looks like it has been pre-configured to be run only open to localhost. If any one would like to verify this with me, I’d appreciate it.

Hi,

Greetings from Visolve…!

We tried with UNIFORM open source server and it has some significant advantages over the xampp. It very useful if you want running web server from flash disk or mobile and the file system size is very less compared to xampp (10 MB) and comprehensive security of the server but the negative is the performance of the server.

Thanks,
