I threw together a quick youtube demonstration of CAMOS today. It doesn’t go into any advanced features, just the basics.

Hi Mark,
I watched with video. Since I’ve toyed with CAMOS myself, only as a curious developer and not as a practicioner, I was able to follow the silent demonstration. Adding audio to the demonstration would be a huge benefit and make the video much more effective. Do you have a way to record some audio and overlay it onto the video?

Jason,
The first video was mostly to show that a useful training video of openemr can be made for youtube. I am planning to do more videos and definitely with narration.

Hey,
I’d also use a modified pointer (seems like many of the youtube videos use pointers that are big colored circles), which would make it easier to follow.

And Mark, a favor;
I believe you developed the CAMOS print of Encounter, right? If so, how difficult would it be to grab the rest of the encounter stuff (SOAP, Vitals, etc) as well as allow a grab of and adding "copies to:" group from the address book, then print a PDF for each, showing all. That makes a super referral when using the signature, and especially if a "practice_logo.jpg" file is used with the facility logo, adress & contact info. I also modified it to put a digitized signature, along with reducing the font on "Digitally Signed".
With the ability to selectively include those, that would be a VERY powerful documentation and referrral device in a limited few clicks and keystrokes. Let me know if you want to discuss it more. I’ll be happy to help. Thanks.
