# XAMPP and OEMR "NOT" on C: drive

I have a computer setting where I can’t install XAMPP on the C: drive. Where to go to instaall XAMPP on D:drive or even better a USB Stick?

hey,

I’m assuming your using the xampp-openemr package.

1) Unpackage XAMPP-openemr package to wherever you want  
2) In openemr/interface/globals.php place appropriate path for $webserver\_root  
3) Double click /xampp/mysql/mysql\_installservice

hey, ERROR in above step 3.

1) Unpackage XAMPP-openemr package to wherever you want  
2) In openemr/interface/globals.php place appropriate path for $webserver\_root  
3) Double-click xampp/setup\_xampp

Then follow instructions per (skip to past where extract to C:):
