XAMPP and Dropbox

On two different locations I have a working version of XAMPP OpenEMR V4.1.1 under windows, one under XP and another one under Win7. I try to get them to synchronize via Dropbox, but although I include the c:/XAMPP/*.* directory to make a full copy it seems that some part is missing in the synchronization process. (I do not use both versions at the same time)

What do I need to include to make both versions synchronized on both computers. (And YES I stop via the Cotrol-panel-XAMPP services for Apache and MySQL.)

I know you aren’t in the US,but Dropbox isn’t HIPAA compliant, and thus the potential to leak information is significant through the synchronization method you are trying.

Tnx for the advise. I will keep this in mind. Is there a way to make the Dropbox directory hidden for unwanted eyes, or should I revert and send only encoded files through Dropbox?

I think I found some solution in synchronizing with AllwaysSync.

Can’t be difficult to make the files encrypted before placing them in Dropbox folder. Making a two step copy=>paste into a three step with coding and decoding. Or is this just a matter of placing emphasis on the wrong issue?
