Where do I install version 4.2 if I already have verizon 4.1.2

I had to edit my above post a bit (having multiple “code” elements in the post was doing really strange stuff) to clarify the instructions. Hopefully the instructions in the post above are more clear now.

Had a look at my own /var/log/openemr/install, Package installed with GDebi Package Installer, not from command line, see 1. Upgrade done from command line.

Don’t have any files in /var/etc/openemr, but there is a file in /etc/openemr, see 2.

Hi fsgl,
Thanks for correcting my mistake on the /etc/openemr path (that’s what happens when I try to go from memory…).

Most welcome. I keep telling myself that there is only so much room for a finite number of neuronal synapses. If we have 9 out of 10 marbles at the end, it’s good.

Seems that your Package has been a big hit & we remember the difficult birth.

I think that we are getting warmer.

Reinstalling on a second server sounds like a good idea, if PHP had not been configured properly at the beginning.

A few users on the Windows side have had problems upgrading because of PHP problems, which disappeared with a fresh install.

Success!!! It worked! I am now upgraded per your linked post. Thans so very much. Happy Holidays. I just open the upgrade handles some ICD mapping errors we were having with the clearing house.
