What is the best way to define the work week for the calendar?
Also does any one have a list of what the entries in openemr_module_vars are for and do?
Thanks
Terry

The work week is usually understood to be Monday to Friday in the U.S. I would surmise this to be the same in Northern Europe, because we all were expected to be in church on Sunday, thus not working on the Sabbath.
A Moslem user requested customization to have Saturday as the first day of the work week because Friday is reserved for Jumu’ah.
If a list for openemr_module_vars is unavailable, the rows are finite & the purpose can be deduced from pn_name. There is also the option of discovery from one of the Demo’s, by manipulating the PostNuke calendar & following the trail to the table.

I was wanting to exclude Saturday and Sunday from the calendar as available for appointments, So just Monday - Friday are open for appointments. Questions about fields attached.

Haven’t the foggiest. You’ll have to play around with the PostNuke calendar.
Some of us take ER call, so it may not be a good idea of totally ditching Saturday & Sunday. When on call, the weekends can end up looking like a weekday.

I had wondered if maybe just no one had gotten around to it. There is a global for start time and end time for appointments, Why not a variable for a start day and end day, for display and the available time slots popup .

A couple of screen shots from a project I am working on , done by setting the Global entries for first DOW and Last DOW.
Not ready for the calendar or prime time yet.
