What is OpenEPD?

Hi
Hey I noticed a subproject called OpenEPD.  What does this consist of?  What is EPD?  A quick google shows it as Employed Persons with Disabilites, Enzyme potentiated desensitisation, and a couple of others.

Thanks
Alfonso

Didn’t take you long to notice that!

OpenEPD stands for “Open Electronisch Patiënten Dossier” which is Dutch for OpenEMR.  This sub-project will become the Dutch version of OpenEMR.  It’s a separate tree because its developers think that is necessary.

Yes, as Rod already replied, the openEPD is the Dutch version for openEMR.

We made this step due the big Dutch specific modifications in the main code, who become this way very complicated to maintain either for us and for the rest of you. We have modifications in db structure, in code logic, in how the information is displayed.

This is the best solution at this moment.

Best,
