The above-linked Welch Allyn site mentions an SDK that Welch Allyn provides free of charge. However, because of the proprietary nature of their devices (software and hardware), they can not release their SDK directly to the community. However, they will work with individual vendors to develop an interface and provide support during this process free of charge. I have asked Tony McCormick’s company, MI-Squared, to develop an interface for the Welch Allyn LXi Vital Signs Monitor. There’s more information in the below thread:
