Once that it done, I would like to link to it via posts on: - Twitter - Facebook - [https://www.reddit.com/r/healthIT/](https://www.reddit.com/r/healthIT/) Additionally, I would like to cross-post it to [https://www.reddit.com/r/optometry/](https://www.reddit.com/r/optometry/) with a focus on the v5 Optometry module (I know nothing about Optometry so maybe someelse who does can create an account and post this to field questions). As far as recruitment goes for the Modernization project, I would like to ask for help but also reference this press release because it really shows that OpenEMR is a serious, high impact project to excite potential developers. The main modernization work right now is with Doctrine ORM integration/MVC… Sherwin and I are teaming up on this, but we think it would be best if there were a total of ~5 developers working on it. I am thinking an “Ask HN” post on HackerNews would be best for recruiting. Thoughts? I’d like to get this done this week because this is the not-fun work but it should get done ASAP because v5 is now out. Thanks, Matthew ---

Plan to announce the press release via the social channels(twitter, facebook, google+, diaspora, linkedin), also release the article on sourceforge news, and contact a couple open source news folks. Agree with being aggressive and going after any additional marketing routes(such as reddit, opto, etc.), since this is very big news. -brady ---
